L.L.Bean Student Ambassador Program

In partnership with L.L.Bean, we developed and managed the company’s first-ever student ambassador program to support the launch of its “Be an Outsider” brand campaign. Students on 17 campuses across the country invited friends and classmates to come together over a shared joy of the outdoors.

About the Outsiders

We hand-picked 30 student ambassadors that aligned with L.L. Bean’s mission and call them the Outsiders. Over two days, we held an immersive training program on the brand’s flagship campus in Freeport, Maine that included content planning and strategy to arm the student ambassadors with extensive knowledge of the brand before heading back to school.

Outside study break, anyone?

We developed a robust content planning and program calendar of tasks for the student ambassadors to introduce the L.L.Bean brand to students throughout the semester. With branded signage, a social media-driven sweepstakes, on-campus events, mobile selling and more, the Outsiders passionately shared the campaign message with fellow students and peers over an entire semester.
