NEC Hires Newbridge Marketing Group As a Sponsorship Sales Consultant

NMG Will Focus On Growing The NEC’s Corporate Partner Program


SOMERSET, NJ — DECEMBER 1, 2015 — The Northeast Conference (NEC) announced today that Newbridge Marketing Group (NMG) has been hired as a Sponsorship Sales Consultant to assist in growing its corporate partner program.  Glenn Todd, NMG’s Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, will oversee the sales and marketing efforts on behalf of NMG.

In its role, Newbridge will work on soliciting new sponsors in select categories on behalf of the Conference.   Todd will work in collaboration with NEC Assoc. Commissioner Andrew Alia, who oversees the league’s marketing and sponsorship programs, as he proceeds with these efforts.

“We are very excited to have Glenn and NMG join the NEC team,” said NEC Commissioner Noreen Morris.  “NMG’s sales experience and vast network of industry contacts make for an excellent addition to our current sales efforts.”

In his role as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships for Newbridge, Todd is responsible for growing its client base and sports marketing division.  Most recently, he was the Director, Corporate Partnerships for the USTA/US Open and was previously the Director of Marketing Partnerships with the New York Giants.  He has also held sports marketing positions with Host Communications, Streetball Partners and the Miami Heat.
