If life really were a box of chocolates, Dave’s professional life would be a veritable Whitman’s sampler of sports journalism. Over the past 25 years, he has been an award-winning reporter and columnist for newspapers (Newsday, The Jackson Sun) and a senior writer for a magazine (College Sports Magazine). He has worked in television as a field producer (CNN-Sports Illustrated, ESPN) and as a managing editor (CSTV), and in digital media as coordinating producer for CBS College Sports Network’s award-winning Road Trips series and as a writer and currently he is a producer for the Real Football Network.

Dave has produced and written documentaries and co-authored the best-selling book, “Take Your Eye Off The Ball.” His second book, “Under Pressure”, was released to rave reviews in August 2014.

When he’s not working (or serving as PTA president for the local elementary school), Dave can be found on the sidelines of Larchmont, NY’s ballfields, coaching his kids’ baseball, softball and flag football teams, or on the golf course, laboring for his first sub-100 round.

Dave trivia: “On the same night 19-year-old rookie J.T. Miller scored his first career goal for the Rangers – I scored my first career ice hockey goal. As a 46-year-old rookie.”
